ORAKEI CLUB. The Orakei Model Yacht Club held their final races of this season on the basin on Saturday. There was a light but steady southerly and the finishes were close, a single point separating the winner and runner-up. . . Three-footers, Mr. Cowan's trophy.—First heat: Mandalay 1, lorangi 2, Flying Cloud 3. Second heat: Sion 1, Mandalay 2, lorangi 3. Final : Sion 1, lorangi 2, Mandalay 3. A. Betterton's Mandalay won the trophy with 40 points. K. Koss' Sion 39 points. Four-footers, Mr. H. Grayson's trophy.— First heat: Eileen 1, Min-Y-Don 2, Crusader 3. Second heat: Eiioen 1, Min-Y-Don 2, Crusader 3. Final : Kninbow 1, Min-Y-Don 2, Crusader 3. It. Grace's Kileen won the trophy with 40 points, Min-Y-Don (R. McKay) 3!) points. Mr. Grayson, donor of the" trophy, was formerly hon. secretary of the club and is now residing at Hamilton. PONSONBY CLUB. The Ponsonby Model Yacht Club lir.ld the annual club regatta yesterday in St. Mary's Bay. The events, comprising a schoolboys' race, 3ft, 4ft and general handicap, were keenly contested In a light southerly, which necessitated cutting down the final race to one round.
