Ffost lay white 011 the ground in many parts of Auckland this morning, and at Ellerslie racecourse one 1 of the hardest ever experienced. It so severely .affected the tan track that it • was impossible to work horses on this until the thaw came. The same 7 effects, though not to so severe a degree, were experienced yesterday morning.
