WALLET DISAPPEARS.
£50 IN NOTES VANISHES. PARNELL MAN'S LOSS. A man residing in Parnell reported to the police last night the loss of his wallet, which contained £50 in notes. The man had gone down to the Niagara to farewell some frierids ; and shortly before the "vessel ' sailed- for Vancouver, he discovered that his wallet, which also 'contained a steamer ticket to Suva, was missing, from the i inside breast pocket of his,, coat. Inquiries are being made by a detective. So far neither;the, wallet nor con- —' i tents has yet been recovered. . ■ )
