REST ROOMS.

May I suggest that the City Council build a rest room for the ladies in the vicinity of Edinburgh Street, Newton. True, there is one at Symonds Street and Ivarangahape Road, but it is a considerable walk for women with little children, also old ladies, many of whom walk in from Grey Lynn and Westmere. Should the day be at all damp there is usually a crowd in the Symonds Street rest room, with the consequent result that the aged and women with children do not care to risk a crowd. 'J'his suggestion, if carried out, would be mir'i appreciated by the and mother*.
