DANCE AT HENDERSON.

The first dance and five hundred tournament- of the season held by the Holy Cross social committee .in the Town Hall, Henderson, list night was a great success. Mr. S. Ozieh supervised a varied programme presented by Livingstone's Dance Band. Novelty dance items were Avon by Misses Estich, Garelja, Ozich and Mr. A. Plaice. Keen interest was shown in the card tournament, of which the prize-winners were:. Miss M.'McCormick and Mr. Borich (1); Mrs. H. B. McCormick and Mr. Lukan (2); Mrs. Ryan and Mr. Meyers (3). La'dies of the committee present were: Mesdames Edwards, Carrol, Tuberty, J. McCormick, H. McCormick, F. McCormick, Misses Salisbury and H. McCormick. Also present were: Misses D. Lloyd, R. Robinson, D. Robinson, A. Robinson, G. Walker, L. Ozicli, V. Ozich, E. Carrol, I. Haydn, P. Haydn, E. Cournane, D. Scliiska, L. Schiska, Peacock, D. Pilgrim, A. Garelja, D. Garelja and P. Baker.
