In tlic matter o£ tlie Electric Power Boards Act, 1025, the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and Amendments and Regulations made thereunder respectively, the WAITEMATA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD, a body corporate duly constituted under the provisions of the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, hereby gives notice in terms of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1920. that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of £15,000 (fifteen thousand pounds) for the following purposes For providing funds for the purposes mentioned in Scction 118 of the Electric Power Boards Act, ll)2o. (Section 11S authorises the Board to m-stall motors, electric wires, electric lamps, and other I fittings, and equipment, in public or private buildings, works, dwellings, and other places, and to accept payment therefor bj instalments.) (a) For the purpose of securing the repayment of the said Special Loan, a special annually-recurring rate of 9/2.j(>tns (nine two hundred and fifty-sixths) of a penny in the £ will be made and levied upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all the rateable property within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power Board District. (b) The term for which tha mid Loan or any part thereof may he borrowed shall be 10 (ten) years.
