WELLINGTON, Sunday.

In an attempt to ride a motor cycle from a 40ft tower down a ramp into a 30ft by 10ft tank containing 4ft of blazing water, at Kilbirnie Stadium on Saturday night, Putt Mossman, the American stunt rider, crashed over the side of the ramp and fell 30ft to the ground. He was taken to hospital with slight concussion and bruises, but was discharged this afternoon. .
