THE BANK'S REPORT,

The Bank of New Zealand lias received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business this week:—Wethers: Demand and prices are steady. Ewes: Trade is slow. Lambs: There is a moderate demand. The market is weaker for heavy-weights and prices are expected to decline. Wethers light, 4%d M 5%d per lb; heavy, 3%d to 4%d; ewes, 2%d to 4%d; lambs, twos, 7%d to %d, eights, 7%d to 7%d; fours, 6%d to 7d, seconds, 7%d to 7%d.
