AKARANA CLUB. The concluding shoot of the Akarann Rifle Club fifth-trophy series "was shot oWr the ranges of 800 and 000 yds on Saturday for trophies presented by Messrs. Davis Colquhoun and Adams. Conditions w«e ' fair and some good shooting was recorded J. G. Jones-Parry registered a ten-shot nos' sible at 800 yds. Trophies were won bv J. G. Jones-Parry. J. AUCKLAND CITY CLUB.
The Auckland City Rifle Club marks, men experienced excellent conditions for the long range championship shoot at Penrose on Saturday afternoon and the standard set'/by the , competitors was high class, there being nine scores of 90 or oyer. Top score was registered by T. L. Blomfield, with A. W. Harris in second position. With handicaps adjusted spoons were -won by H. J. Verrall and I. G. Campbell In their respective grades. Points for trophies allocated:—A grade: Blomfield and I. Spry, 4 each; Verrall, 3; Simnionds, 1. B grade: Campbell, 5; Milligan, 3; Kelly, 2; Howie and Jessop, l each.
