AUCKLAND CLUB.

At the meeting held at Peck's Field on Saturday afternoon, Hie most successlui •■alhering of its kind for a number of mouths, the Auckland Model Aeroplane Club members were able to put up one New Zealand and two club records. W B. Mackley, with a beautifully finished model of the Cessna, raised the New Zealand record for scale models to seconds. Application ror recognition • of this has been made to the New Zealand Model Aeroplane Association. All attempt to raise the 1t.0.G. scale model record tell a few seconds short of the required dura- . The novice competition provided a large field and was won in great style by G. Ward with 1.52, C. When last seen the model was up 1000 ft heading for the West Coast. This was a club record, bat still not good enough to take Dominion honours. . This is the last outdoor meeting of the 1035-36 season, the cluirs annual general meeting taking place on March 6.
