: FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. r i The Government Meteorologist issued • to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon 1 the following special weather forecast ' for the Auckland Province to as far " south as Tauranga, Kawhia and ' 5 Hamilton: — Light to moderate and variable winds, with southcrlies predominating. Weather mainly fair, but scattered rain probable at times. Temperatures warm. Seas slight to moderate. A very slight depression crossed the Dominion yesterday and another is just reaching the extreme south. Hauraki Gulf Conditions. The following report of weather con- • ditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day: — Wind, north-east, light; sea, smooth; weather, cloudy, but fine; visibility, , good; barometer, steady. <
