The first 10,000 replies to Question 9 in Mr. Alexander Korda's recent British film investigation reveal the fact that Charles Laughton, who is engaged on the London film of "Cyrano de Bergerac," is easily the most popular British screen actor. The question asked: "Name your three favourite British film actors." Here are the first twelve names in order of popularity.
