PRIME MINISTER'S COMMENT.
In commenting on the agreement this morning, the Prime Minister, Hon. M. J. Savage, said that of course the present Government would adhere to any agreements that were made by the previous Government, unless mutual arrangements were come to between the parties for alterations to be made. It might suit both Dominions to make an alteration to the agreement. So far as keeping agreements was concerned, the Labour party would keep them all right.
