MAN STRUCK BY LORRY.

(By Telegraph.—'Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, this day. Mr. John Mackin, aged about 65 years, a relief worker employed at the Public Works camp at Puke Bridge, Paeroa, was hit by a lorry driven by Mr. P. E. Parkinson, of Tauranga, on the Te Puke Road late last evening. He suffered injuries to his head, right shoulder and elbow. He was admitted to the Paeroa Hospital, and was transferred to the Thames Hospital to-day.
