SPINE INJURED.

JAMMED AGAINST SHED.

WHAKATANE, this day.

Spine injuries were received by Mr. Eric Downard at his home in Owhakatora Valley when he was jammed between his motor car and a shed. Mr. Downard was cranking the car when the front seat slipped and pushed the gear in, the vehicle running forward and- pinning Mr. Downard against a shed. The injured man was admitted to the Whakatane Hospital. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
