The morning bogey handicap resulted in .7. Tinnier nnd D. Grnlinm tieiiig, 3 up, and Tanner winning on the count back. The afternoon medal round resulted in a tin between H. Preston, jun., 7!)—12—07, nnd Tii Bryant, 73—0—07. Bryant, playing brilliant golf, reached the turn In 35, he dropped n stroke at the twelfth nnd thirteenth, but finished the lust live holes In scratch titfurcK for as home. Preston, jun., went out In -12, but came home in 37, nnd won the medal Oh the Count back. The tournament will be continued on Monday, When the semi-finals and finals .will be played.
