DICKIE BROTHERS EXCEL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Friday. Glorious weather favoured the North Island tennis championships, which were continued in Wanganui to-day. Some excellent tennis was closely followed by a largo crowd. The most notable defeat of the day was the elimination of N. G. Sturt and M. I. Lampe in the men's doubles by the youthful Waverley pair, E. and A. Dickie. The boys played well together, and that was the deciding factor in a three-set match. Bedford (Wellington) has reached the final of the men's singles, and will play the winner of the semi-final between N. G. Sturt (Auckland) and I. W. tidy (Wanganui). The Misses Beverley (Waikato) have reached the final of the women's singles. The Dickie brothers (Waverley) are in the filial of the men's doubles, and are to play (he winner of;the match Cox and Udy (Wanganui) v. Robertson brothers. The final of the women's doubles will be played between the Misses Beverley and Mrs. Smith and Miss Greaves.

Shirt and Miss N. Beverley are in the final of the combined, doubles, and will play the winners of the match between Hay Campbell and Miss Purcell and Bedlord and Miss Railway.
