ENGAGEMENTS.

The engagement is announced of Freda, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Addison, of Otorohanga, to Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Brierly, of Hikurangi.

The engagement is announced between Jean, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Miller, of Remuera, and Leslie, only son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Barrett, of Mount Eden.

Mr. and Mrs. 11. J. Chandler, of Morningside, announce the engagement of their younger daughter, Florence Mary, to Ronald Douglas, younger eon of Mr. G. Rule and the late" Mrs. Rule, of Epsom.

The engagement is announced of Thelma Lucenda, youngest daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. George Clarke, Auckland, late of Karangahake, to Frank Peter, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Franicevic, Auckland.

The engagement is announced of Patricia, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Long, of Garden Terrace, Devonport, to Pereival John Stoner, R.N., youngest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. E. S. Stoner, of Eastbourne, England.

The engagement is announced between Fay A'Del, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. *E. Anstice, of Mount Albert Road, Mount Roskill. formerly of Takapau, and Howard Victor, second son of Mr. and the late Mrs. J. Young, of Birmingham, England.
