RACING AT RANDWICK. SUMMER CUP TO VICE ROYAL. '
SYDNEY, December 26. The weather was line and there was a large attendance at the second day of the Australian Jockey Club's summer meeting at Randwick to-day. The December Stakes was won by Bonnie Legion and the Summer Cup by vice Royal. A hostile demonstration was made against Ilium, winner of the Summer Nursery Handicap. The stewards held an inquiry into, Ilium's poor form last Saturday compared with to-day, and considered that it was due to the colt's greenness. Hands Up was unplaced in the first division of the Christmas Trial Handicap and Treasure Trove in the second division. Results:^— SUMMER NURSERY HANDICAP of £500. Two-year-olds.
