PARTY AT BROWN'S BAY.

Despite the inclement weather a larg* number of children and adults rallied to attend the Christmas tree provided by the Brown's Bay .Returned Soldiers' Association in the cabaret. Father Christmas received the young folk at the door and presented each with an ice cream. They were then entertained with a fine picture programme, which was followed by the Christinas party. The Christmas tree, which was laden with beautiful presents, balloons and ilags, was the main feature, each child receiving a toy, squeaker and bag of sweets. Games and dancing followed and a pleasant evening concluded with the singing of Auld Lang Syne.
