Father Christmas received the young folk at the door and presented each with an ice cream. They were then entertained with a fine picture programme, which was followed by the Christinas party. The Christmas tree, which was laden with beautiful presents, balloons and ilags, was the main feature, each child receiving a toy, squeaker and bag of sweets.
