SWIMMERS AT COX'S CREEK.

Please allow me space in your paper to appeal and complain on behalf of seven boat owners at Cox's Creek against swimmers, young and old, who interfere with boats anchored near the shore. Last Sunday lhaa to speak to men and women climbing on a small 12ft yacht, nearly swamping it, and stop youths on other boats there. Now the hot weather is here I appeal to mothers, fathers and schoolmasters to instruct their children who use Cox's Creek as a playgroun and swimming area to leave all boats alone on account of the damage they do. We are sick of working all the' winter for these swimmers and children to be climbing, strain ing and scratching our boats the way do. There is plenty of room for all, a . , other owners threaten to take the law their own hands to protect their property hence this letter is intended to save any trouble later on, as tliey say it would cheaper to pay fines than to repair boats the time. SEVEN BOAT OWNERS.
