(Sent In by Junable Frith, 20, King's View Road, Mount Eden, 5.1.; age 15.)

The little fairy cobbler in his slioesliop works all day, He hammers at the worn-out shoes while other fairies play. While shoes of all descriptions cover shelf and bench and floor, Our little fairy friend is working at his shoeshop door. Some shoes are cream, like jasmine, and some of pansy blue, While some are pink, like small rosebuds, the rest of gaudy hue. And when he works, our cobbler friend, he uses silken thread, Spun by spiders, big and strong, who work till time for bed.
