SEARCH THE PICTURE.

PROVES TO BE A FAVOURITE COMPETITION. Not for many weeks has there been such a rush of competition entries as there was for the "B's in the Picture" competition. Hundreds and hundreds of lists streamed into the office, until Peter Pan was overwhelmed, but, oh, dear, out of those entries there were so,very many that had neither name nor address attached. There were only 44 objects in the picture that began with the letter B, but some little people found as many as 1 40, while several reached the 80 mark. All these were, of course, disqualified. Another mistake that many entrants made'was to add such adjectival phrases as "Blue sky" or "Bare feet" to their lists. These were not allowed, nor was it permissible to name the flowers, as so many did, as either buttercup, bluebell or begonia. Prize and certificate winners are much to be congratulated this week, when they were able to score points from such a large number of competitors. RESULTS OF COMPETITION FOR DECEMBER 7.
