NEW HEADMASTER.

WANGANUI COLLEGIATE. (By Telegraph.—Press .Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The new headmaster of the Wangauui Collegiate School, Mr. F. W. Gilligan, and his wife arid three children arrived in the Kangitane from London to-night. Mr. Gilligan said he had already heard a great deal about New Zealand from Collegiate old boys and from his brother Harold, who captained the M.C.C. team in the Dominion in 1931-32.

He preferred not to discuss education and his plans for the school until he had first learned something of education and its aspirations in New Zealand. He mentioned having seen the recent All Blacks' match with Oxford, which he described as most exciting and the test Rugby match he had ever seen.
