SAVED FARMERS FROM RUIN.

An attentive hearing was given Mr. T. J. Fleming, National Government candidate, for Roskill, last night at the Baptist Church Hall, which was filled. The candidates opposed to him were prepared to reduce the rate of exchange and to annul the mortgage legislation, he said. This would reduce the farmers to insolvency.
