AUCKLAND'S NEW TUG. REQUIREMENTS EXCEEDED. Advice of the sailing of the new tug, William C. Daldy, from Ncwcastlc-on-Tyne, for Auckland, 011 November 7, was received at a meeting of tlie Auckland Harbour Board yesterday afternoon. According to cabled reports the tug on her trials reached a maximum of 1950 h.p., a speed of 13.4 knots and a static pull of 17 tons.
