ATHLETES IN TRAINING. How Some Keep Fit. Training: for athletic contests makes heavy demands on one's strength and stamina, and, to counteract the strain, the use of strength-promoting- roods is essential. This was quickly discovered, by Mr. L. C. Macedonian, holder or the N.Z. championship for one mile in 1033-34, and. present holder or the Otago championship for the same distance. "The strain was telling- on me," relates Mr. MacLaehlan, "and though I tried all sorts or things, it was not until I got on to Wilson's 'Maltexo' Malt Extract that I did any good. 'Maltexo' built up my strength and vitality, and kept me fresli and fit through the most strenuous training or - contests. Whenever I train, or wherever I compete, I always take 'Maltexo,' and any mates to whom I have recommended it think just as highly or 'Maltexo' as I do. It certainly made me." Not only athletes, hut people (n all walks of lire work better, play better and feel better -when they, take "Maltexo"—it's Nature's own tonic- food.-—(Ad:)/.;-.
