TUAKAU NEWS.
A credit balance of 12 6/ was reported at tlie annual meeting of the Tuakau Public Library. The following officers were elected: Chairman, Mr. A. P. Escott; secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. Bagnall; librarian, itev. C. A. Vaughan; committee, Mesdames F. Burnett, D. -Morgan, W. Hewitt, Tassau, Messrs. Fleet, M. R. D. McGahan. . „ , Complete success attended the Pukekawa Ping-pong Club's first annual ball. Winners of novelty dances were Miss M. Elwin and Mr. D. Fulton, and Miss A. Hawk and Mr. H. Andrews. Mr. G. Bell was master of ceremonies.
