(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) RAGLAN, Tuesday. That the family was living under distressful«conditions and that their whare was little more thp.ii a hovel was a statement at the inquest yesterday concerning the death of a five-nionths-old Maori child, Kawia Tato. A verdict that death was due to debility and malnutrition, aggravated by injudicious feeding, was returned by the coroner, Mr. E. W. Bernard. The child was taken to a doctor six weeks ago, but had been given no medical attention since.
