SYDNEY, September 29,
The barrow pusher, Mr. W. Darwin, with his "passenger," Mr. W. Aniiguet, completed the last stage of his journey from Melbourne to Sydney early this morning on schedule, and now becomes entitled to his wager of £100. The police did not allow Mr. Darwin to enter the city from the suburb -of Erskinevillc, where lie originally stopped and went into hospital with a poisoned leg. They stipulated • that the last stage should be carried out before tlie peak traffic hours. This order was complied with to-day.
