YUGOSLAV CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING HELD.
The Yugoslav Club, Auckland, held its annual meeting in the Manchester Unity, Hall yesterday afternoon, the president, Mr. M. E. Simicli, being in the chair. In the course of his address, Mr. Simicli referred to the excellent financial position of the club despite unprecedentedly heavy expenditure in importation of musical instruments and costumes for the Tamburitza Orchestra, the balance-sheet showing a surplus of approximately £20. The president mentioned the work of the newly-formed juvenile organisation within the club, "Echo of the Yugoslav Club," which had for its objects the training of children and young people in the national "kolo" dance and other recreations. Election of officers resulted as follows:— President. Mr. Simicli; vice-presidents, Messrs. Milicich and M. Sumich; secretaries, Mr. E. Mandich an d Rev. Father Pavlinovich; treasurers, Messrs. M. Ravlish and Ivan Luketina; committee, Messrs. P. Kokich, J. Raos, T. A. Petrie, T. Ivcevich, J. Vodanovich, S. Dean, G. Popovich, G. Vrsaljko, G. Banovich, T. Garelja, M. Marinovicli, A. Antunoviclv L. Marinovicli and F. S. Petrie.
