TRAM CONCESSION.
SATURDAY SPORTS TICKET. EXTENSION TO SUNDAY? That the conditions of the sale of the present Saturday sports tram tickets be altered so that the- tickets should be available for use on Sundays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2.30 p.m., or that special tickets should be offered, was a suggestion made by Mr. J. Sayegh at this morning's meeting of the Auckland Transport Board. In making his suggestion Mr. Sayegh commented that few people made use of tho trams on Sunday mornings, and in the early part of the afternoons. An alteration of the present sports ticket, lie thought might induce people to make more use of the trams on Sundays. The manager was requested to report on the suggestion at the next meeting of the board. Mr. J. A. C. Allum asked that the manager should also report on the sale of the present sports tickets.
