FOOTBALL CASUALTIES.
THREE IN ONE MATCH. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA. this day. Three accidents occurred during the King Country-Bay of Plenty Rugby Football match yesterday. Norman Bashgate, captain of the King Country team, received concussion through falling heavily in a tackle, and Peter Ririnui, a well known Tauranga forward, received injuries to his left shoulder. Both were attended by St. John Ambulance officers and a doctor, aiid were removed to hospital, but their condition this morning was not serious. K. Lees, a member of the Bay of Plenty team, received an injury to an ankle near the end of the .game, and was forced to retire.
