JUNIOR SECTION. A meeting of the younjrrr supporters of the National Political Federation was held last evening. Mr. H. P. Burton. the National candidate for Auckland East, gave an address on the disadvantage of Labour administration in local body affairs. He said that the Auckland City Council and affairs of the city were controlled by a Trades Hall caucus, which caucus was not necessarily controlled by the Labour members of tlie council. Mr. B. IT. Kingston pave an address on the mortgage legislation of last session, which he said was now admitted to be of advantage to farmers and mortgagors generally.
