liOCAZj freedom desired. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MARTON, this day. A move for a universal half-holiday in the Dominion was summarily rejected by a largely-attended meeting of business interests at Marton. The following resolution was carried unanimously: "That this fully representative meeting emphatically protests against any interference with the existing right, and that each district select the half-holiday best suited to local conditions."
