OBITUARY.
MR. L. C. ROSKRUGE
The death occurred at Wellington recently of Mr. Louis Charles Koskruge at the age of 88 years. He was born at St. Keverne. Cornwall, and came to New Zealand in 1803, his family first settling in Auckland, where Mr. Roskruge joined the Audit Department. He was transferred to Wellington when the change in the seat of Government took) place" and rose to the position of chief clerk, retiring at the age of 02. Mr. Roskruge was a foundation member of the Wellington Masonic Lodge and also of the Star Boating Club. In addition, he took a keen interest in yachting. Mr. Koskruge is survived by his widow and the following children: —Mrs. W. M. Holmes, Kelburn; Mrs. J. C. Collins, Christchurch; Mr. Leslie Roskruge, secretary of the Metropolitan Permanent Buiidiiijr Society, Wellington; and Mr. Kenneth Roskruge. manager of the Bank of New Zealand, Tokomaru Buy. MR. A. D. ARMOUR. The funeral of the late Mr. Andrew Davis Armour, aged 44, whose death occurred on May 28, took place at the Soldiers' Cemetery, Waikuinete. Mr. Armour formerly resided at Whangaripo. near Wellsford, and later at Parau. He enlisted in the 15th Reinforcements, and saw service in Egypt with the Auckland Mounted Rifles. Representatives of the Western Suburbs R.5.A., , of which body Mr. Armour was a member, attended the funeral, and the usual ceremony of placing poppiee in the grave was observed. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
