WOMAN TO PAY FINE OF £20,
PRESUMABLY AX AGEXT. (By Teleernpii.-— Press Assoclntlon.) CHIUSTCHURCH, this day. Kathleen Xoru Poulsoil, aged 32, storekeeper, of Brougham Street, was lined £20 and costs by Mr. E. C, Levvey on a charge of using her shop as a common gaming house. The police said there had been numerous complaints'. Six bet*> had been made with accused by constables, and later detectives searched the premises and found betting slips. Presumably the woman was an agent. WANGANUI ' PROSECUTION, (By Association.) WAXGAXUI, this day. B. F. Corrigan was to-day fined £100 on a charge of keeping a common gaining hou^e.
