The Papakuru Bowling Club held Uβ nniimil meeting last evening, Mr. B.JJ. Rice presiding over a good attendance, me report disclosed an Increase of l< members and a eueceasful season. Trophies were presented to S. l>. Andernnn. the winner of the handicap singles and tlrst-year player championship, and to A. M. Hammond, championship singles (for second time in .succession).
Officers elected :—Patron, Mr. K.- D. McLennan; president, Mr. S. D. Kice; vicepresidents. Messrs. A.M. Hammond, 1. O. Smith; secretary and treasurer, Mr. 1. I'. Snell: committee, Messrs. Whitmore, Anderson, Cooker; green superintendent, Mr. T. U. Smith ; auditor, Mr. J. F. John atone. ■:''■ ; ■-'.
