CLAIM AGAINST CROWN.

(By Tclesrapli.—Press Association.. WELLINGTON, Friday.

In a case in which £2000 damages was claimed from the Grown by a dairy farmer, Charles John Duffy, for injuries received by being struck by a railway bus, a jury in the Supremo Court to-day found lor the plaintiff. Ho was awarded £41G 8/ special damages, and £850 general damages. On the application of defending counsel the motion for judgment was allowed to stand over until next Tuesday for further consideration.
