TRANSPORT APPEAL.
- I *1 ROTORUA ROAD SERVICES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, Thursday. At tlie annual meeting of the Rotorua County Council to-day Mr. H. P. Ford presiding, it was unanimously decided to support the appeal which is being made against the decision of the Transport Board to cancel the licenses of Andrews and Fleming, two carriers operating goods service between Itotorua and Auckland. The opinion was expressed by councillors that road transport services had been of very great assistance to the farmers of the district in the past, and should be continued.
