PROGRESS MADE IN BRITAIN.

(Received 12 noon.) LONDON, May 13. In the House of Commons, the Post-master-General, Sir Kingsley Wood, told Captain Peter Maci'.onald (Con., Isle of Wight) that he was unable to make a statement on a plan for sending all first class Empire mail by air, but progress had resulted from the British delegation's recent visit to Australia, New Zealand and the Far East colonies.
