AUSTRALIAN CLUB.
The Penwomen's Club room were gay with autumn blossoms and foliage last evening, when members of the Australian Club held an enjoyable bridge and mah Jong party. The president, Mr. John Farrell, and Mrj. Farrell, assisted by Mrs. St. Clair Brown, chairman of the Australian Women's Club, received tlie guests.
Tables were arranged by Dr. Buckley Turkington, Mcsclames Xoakes, St. Clair Brown, Scott-Young, Kay Stratton, Trevor Gulliver, Bruce-Smith, Grey, Hill, Greene, 11. Paykel, Coutts, Burns, \VH itton, Darlow, Spence, and Miss Cousins. Prize-winners were Mrs. N. A. Hepburn and Mr. O. F. Frieberg.
