TATTERSALL'S MEETING. SILVER JUBILEE RUNS FOURTH SCRATCHMERE SCAR WINS. SYDNEY, May 12. The New Zealand-bred gelding Scratchmere Scar scored a very convincing victory in the Welter Handicap at Tattersail's Club meeting at Rand wick yesterday, when the weather was fine, but the going was somewhat heavy. The Aucklandowned Silver Jubilee ' finished fourth in the Flying Handicap, won by Bouyeo. .Money Spi was fourth and Viceroy was ninth in the Two-year-old Handicap, which was won by Red Thespian, a chestnut gelding by Thespian from Kenalluna, owned by Mi'. TAKAXUA AT MOONEE VALLEY MELBOURNE. May 12. Tnkakua, owned by Mr. J. Jameson, of Wairarapa, and trained by M. McGrath, won the Nonga Handicap, the principal flat event, at the Moonee Valley Racing Club's meeting yesterday. Takaktta was recently successful in the Warrnambool .Cup. Shining Gold was fourth in the Keera Welter Handicap, and Hit the Deck was unplaced in the Brunswick Steeplechase. Result:— NONGA HANDICAP of £500. Apprentice riders.
