ODDFELLOWS' BALL.

A JUBILEE CELEBRATION.

The annual ball held, in the Warkwoi'th Town Ilall, under the auspices of the Loyal Warkwortli Pioneer Lodge, last Friday evening, proved an outstanding event of the jubilee week celebrations. It was attended by over 150 couples and was a most successful, and enjoyable affair, due largely to the excellent help and co-operation of the ladies' committee. The hall was attractively decorated with multi-coloured streamers radiating from a large Union Jack, and many shaded lights. Ked, white and blue streamers predominated. Several competitions were introduced during the evening, the winners being: Waltzing, Mr. T. Kosieur and Miss 11. Scholium; Monte Carlo, Mr. P. Layton and Miss Irving; statue waltz, Mr. L. Clubb and Miss 1. Clayden; spot waltz, Mr. 11. Marsh and Miss R. Clegg.

The committee that lent its valuable assistance comprised Mrs. C. L. Gunson, who wore a frock of cherry crepe satin; Mrs. Horace Stewart, electric blue ribbed satin; Mrs. J. Bergman, black crepe de chine; Mrs. D. J. Carran, brown silk marocain; Mrs. .T. Derceourt, cherry crinkled marocain; Mrs. Cyril Phillips, salmon sand crepe; Mrs. R.
