MASTER PRINTERS.
ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the Auckland Master Printers' Association was held 011 Tuesday evening. Mr. K. Aldridgc presided, and ill his letirin;; address reviewed the events of the year. He affirmed that definite progress toward solidarity could be reported, and favourably interpreted th.trend of events in the printing industry generally. The association had reason for congratulation in +hc successful termination of the recent industrial trouble, and in the revision of wholesale trading conditions. The arrangements now made for the establishment of the federation's finance were a happy augury for the future. Messrs. F. J. I>awson, A. Dennison and P. Ilickson reported the deliberations of the recent federation conference in Wellington. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. P. ,T. Dawson: vice-presidents, Messrs. F. Hickson and T. W. Thompson; treasurer, Mr. C. H. Jenkins; auditor, Mr J. A. Sherriff; apprenticeship committee, Messrs. Wright. Aldridgc and Wishart; secretary, Mr. H 0. Simnio'ds: executive. Messrs. Pearsall. Dennison, Clark, Jacobs. Aldridge. Wishart, Wright and Herdman; country, Messrs. Yardley and Nicholas.
