RANDWICK GALLOPS. LIMOUX AND SIR JOHN DO BEST. (Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The most prominent Doncaster and Sydney Cup candidates were not worked this morning owing to engagements at the Warwick Farm meeting this afternoon. Silver Ring, ridden by M. McCarten, trotted a round on the grass track, and galloped the last two furlongs in 2Gs. The injury he sustained on the boat has not affected his movement, but the question is whether lie has had a sufficient preparation for the JJoncaster Handicap.
Sylvandale and Broad Arrow covered nine furlongs in 2.10. Sir John was not extended to beat Visage over six furlongs in 1.19. King March and Contact did a good ten furlongs together, taking 2.26. Miss Nottava ran a mile in 1.50'/4, going easily. Limoux and Rogerio ran the best seven furlongs of the morning, recording 1.32. Senior and Gold Trail ran seven furlongs in 1.34. and Arachnc, Solfast and Derinid completed six furlongs in 1.19.
