'Varsity Boat Crews at Work On Henley Course. PAST CAMBRIDGE TRIAL. (British Official, Wireless.) (Received 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, March 22. The Cambridge crew for the University boat' race, which will take place on April (i, to-day rowed the full course for a juiced trial on the Thames between Putney and Mortlake in 19 minutes 3 seconds.
The Oxford crew did a similar trial last Wednesday under more favourable conditions, but without the stimulus of pacing by other crews, in 19 minutes 32 seconds.
