WHEAT GRANTS.
ALLOCATION IN AUSTRALIA. (Received 10 a.m.) CANBERRA, this day. The Royal Commission on the wheat industry has recommended the Commonwealth' Government to allocate its £.-)7;i,'230 grant for the relief of wheatgrowers as follows: —New South Wales, ~£100,000; Victoria, £192,000; South Australia, £127,000; AVcst Australia, £137,000; Queensland, £12,000; Tasmania, £5250.
The acting-Prime Minister, Dr. Earle Pag,e, has introduced a bill authorising these grants.
