OVERSEAS TRADE.
FEBRUARY RETURNS. EXPORTS LOWER, IMPORTS HIGHER. A decline in overseas trade, chiefly caused by reductions in export values, is shown in the latest returns issued by the Customs Department from Wellington. Specie is excluded. For the mouth of February, 1035, exports of specie wore £66,900 and imports £5500. For two ■months ended February, 1935, exports of specie were £134,000 and imports £178.000.
