SPIRITS ADDICTS.

Two men who were found by a constable drinking methylated spirits_ on the waterfront at 9.40 on Tuesday night were arrested, and each charged with being an. incorrigible rogue with insufficient means of support. They were Leslie Roy Geoghan, aged 35, labourer, and Robert Bums, 67, a moulder. Both pleaded guilty. Burns was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within 12 months. Keoglian, who had a list of previous convictions, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
